Thank you, members! Our first satisfaction survey, conducted with the assistance of Environics, achieved an impressive 40 percent response rate (which is all the more noteworthy given the barrage of sad e-mail coming to you from IWF as we launched this project). Remember that $300 party prize for the Chapter with the highest response rate? Take a bow, Montrealers---45 percent of you came forward to share your views.

So what did we learn? The overall picture is bright. An overwhelming majority of members feel engaged and supported by your local Chapter. To a somewhat lesser extent, most of you feel part of a vibrant international community. But you were frank about your suggestions for improvement. Two dominant themes emerged: You want to see clearer communication of IWF's mission, and a warmer welcome to newcomers. Some of you are also looking for more frequent and detailed updates to this site, now in its second year.
