IWF's Annual Stratford Shakespeare Festival Trip

IWF's Annual Stratford Shakespeare Festival Trip

It's that time of year again and we are once again organizing our annual trip to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.  This year, we are offering members the opportunity to see the matinee performance of 'The Tempest' starring Christopher Plummer on Sunday, August 29th.  Christopher Plummer is a celebrated Canadian stage and screen actor, winner of multiple Tony and Emmy Awards and most recently nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in ‘The Last Station.'

We would leave Toronto at approximately 8:00 a.m. and return at around 8:00 p.m.  The individual cost of the day is $210, including HST.  This cost includes the performance in A plus seating, lunch with wine at the festival theatre and return transportation in a private chartered bus.

In order to arrange for bus transportation, we will require a minimum of 20 participants; otherwise, members will need to make their own travel arrangements, and the price will be $45 less.

As well, we will require a deposit of $100 to secure the theatre tickets.  The deposit will be non refundable after July 16th.
