Our congratulations to Marie Delorme! Recently recognized for her entrepreneurial success, Marie has built a highly successful company supporting the work of Indigenous artists. Métis, originally from Manitoba, Marie opened her company in 2000 when she left an executive position with a large corporation to represent Aboriginal artists through art cards, corporate gifts and promotional products. Her intent was to champion the artists’ work and return a fair percentage of the sales to them. Today she works with 33 Native artists. Additionally, The Imagination Group, also led by Marie, engages with Aboriginal organizations, corporations and governments, focusing on the areas of economic development, strategic planning, leadership and governance.
