Françoise Faverjon-Fortin is Past Chair and CEO of MedicAlert Canada and Strategic Advisor at Baldwin Global. In 2020, MedicAlert Canada's strategic transformation journey, initiated under the guidance of Françoise and her Board of directors, lead the organization and its employees to be recognized for the first-time as one of Canada's Most Admired Corporate Culture. 

Over the years, Françoise held a number of senior level positions in executive leadership, corporate governance, strategy & transformation, business development, international trade, finance and insurance. Prior to her current roles, she had a distinguished career at EDC, the Conference Board of Canada and the World Trade Institute of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. 

Françoise is also an Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) graduate & member. She is a recognized independent board director and strategic advisor to a number of organizations. She is the Vice-Chair of The Montreal Council on Foreign Relations (CORIM), Past Chair of the Canadian MedicAlert Foundation, and Past Chair/Vice-Chair of the Raoul-Dandurand's center for Strategic and Diplomatic Studies. Over the last 20 years, she had the privilege to serve as a Director/Board Member on twelve Boards and Advisory Committees.

In 2017, Françoise and her former EDC team won the ‘Program of the Year’ Sirius Award for outstanding work in the development and implementation of a Partner Channels Strategy. She also received the 2012 Recognition Award and the 2008 Leadership Award from the Association of Quebec Women in Finance. She has  been recognized as one of Canada's top “Women in the Lead” for board appointment. Mrs Faverjon was one of the first five women in Quebec to graduate from the Canadian Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2005. 

Françoise is also a recognized speaker and  taught for many years to MBA students of l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC). She graduated with honors from the State University of New York and holds an MBA in International Finance.
