Josée Goulet

Josée Goulet holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnique Montréal (1985) and completed her MBA, with a specialization in Marketing and Strategic Planning, at McGill University in 1990. She joined Bell Canada in May 1985, where she held a variety of roles across engineering, sales, marketing, customer service, and business unit management. After rapidly advancing within the organization, she was appointed President of Bell Distribution Inc. in 1999, overseeing Bell retail stores and Bell Mobility, based in Toronto.

From 2000 to 2001, she returned to Montréal to serve as President of Bell ActiMedia, a BCE division responsible for publishing the Yellow Pages in Canada and seven additional countries. In October 2001, she was appointed President of Bell Québec, with full responsibility for all sales, marketing, and operational activities in Québec across the consumer, SME, and large enterprise segments. At the time, the organization comprised several thousand employees, served hundreds of thousands of customers, and generated more than $3 billion in annual revenue.

After leaving Bell in May 2005, where she held the role of Chief Marketing Officer, she founded JGoulet Consultant, providing marketing and communications advisory services to a range of organizations. She later joined TEC Canada in 2018 as Group President, where she facilitates and supports peer-to-peer exchanges among growth-oriented business leaders.

Throughout her career, Josée Goulet has completed numerous executive education and leadership programs, including at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania, 1995), HEC Montréal (2002), the University of Cambridge (UK), the University of Toronto (Rotman School of Management), and the Institute of Corporate Directors (McGill University, 2008), further strengthening her expertise in finance, governance, and strategic planning.

She has also served on several boards of directors, including Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., a publicly traded global convenience store operator; Polytechnique Montréal (where she also served on the Audit Committee); the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, a federal Crown agency; and Cogeco Cable Inc., an international company providing residential cable, high-speed internet, and telephony services in Canada and Portugal. She brings her extensive strategic, financial, and operational expertise to the benefit of the organizations she serves.
